    Hello Bukkit Peopl!
I have recently used my pc to run a desktop server with 8 out of 16GB of ram and it was perfectly fine.My console code is this:
    title Server
    color a
    java -Xmx8G -Xms8G -jar spigot_server.jar -o true
    PAUSE

I do not need my console code edited unless it fixes the problem. What happens when i launch it is this:

    Invalid maximum heap size: -Xmx8G
The specified size exceeds the maximum representable size.
Error: Could not create a java virtual machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occured. Program will exit.

    C:\Users\myusername\Desktop\Server>PAUSE
Press any key to continue . . .

    Please help!

What MrBlackIsBack is saying is search key sentences such as "Invalid maximum heap size" before posting ;)

Since that post is a little outdated, I'll just tell ya what to do.

Uninstall your current Java version and install the 64-bit version. You're getting that error because you have a 32-bit version of Java installed. Here's a link to get the current latest version of Java (Java 8 update 66):
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html

You want "Java SE Runtime Environment 8u66"
