Plugin category: Disguise Suggested name: CloakCraft What I want: I realize that there are plenty of disguise plugins out there (I can think of at least 4 off hand), but I notice that none of them (that I know of, let me know if you know of one) utilize a special feature of Minecraft 1.8, which is found in spectator mode. I do not know if this is possible, but what should happen is when you are disguised, you see through the mobs "perspective", like if you were in spectator mode, but you can control the mob. What I'm also hoping this could allow is for the disguised player to fit through spaces that they're disguised mobs would normally fit through. Another idea I had for the plugin is an interactive settings system in chat, like HolographicDisplays' help menu. This menu would contain options like the other disguise plugins have, including baby form, step by full blocks (for disguising as a block), and mob specific commands for changing parts of the mob, like color, saddled or not, charged or not, and wither skeleton or not (I found some of these features in this plugin's commands section: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/disguisecraft/) My final idea for CloakCraft (or whatever you decide on naming it) is an item or command of some sort that, when activated, allows the player to use the mob's special ability, like make a specific noise that the mob makes, blow up (creeper), pick up a block (enderman), and etc.. Ideas for commands: /cloak <mob, player, or block> [Player], alias: /c Ideas for permissions: player.cancloak.<type of cloak>, player.seecloaked, player.cancloakothers When I'd like it by: Any time, any date. Thank you for taking an interest, technoguy20000
Impossible. I do not think a spectator gives any packets to the server while viewing from a mob. I may be mistaken but anyone who does do this is going to take a long long time,
@VortexGmer I have a friend that used to make plugins professionally, and he told me that he thought it might be possible. That is unfortunately all I know at this point.
