    Hello all,

My kids love to play minecraft and they want to play together in a sever. Now i Created the normal server and the server from Spigot because somehow i can't find the craftbukkit file. Anyways all this stuff seems to be the same if i read all the post and see youtube post. All of them are explaining something but non of them are making a post/movie how to work everything out and tell you how you can see if it works.

Is there some1 that can explain this to me in a clear way so i can understand it and check if it works?
I did find a shit load of plugins for this game. Also how you can make the world interesting for those kids.
In the Spigot server i have now there are no villagers and its all so strait forward. So i was looking foor a mod/plugin to make the world more fun. But i can not get them to work.

Also i have a question if there are world plugins that give you like mysterious dungeons or ruins to discover and ad new monsters. Or temples well you know what i mean i guess.

Anyway would be wonderful of you could give me a hand in this.

    Thx

Ps.. Al this stuff make me nuts lol. Why cant they make a game where you just download a file and put it into the map it belongs. Plug and play hahahaha

If you just want someplace where they can play, have your kids play on an existing server. Check out the popular ones, there's a reason so many players play on them.

If you're trying to make your own server, you shouldn't be expecting a plug and play experience; it can take some work. First of all, before you start putting plugins on it, you need to decide on what kind of gameplay you want. You were vague about exactly what you want, so I can't suggest any specific plugins. Besides, no single plugin is going to take care of the whole thing; server owners configure a number of plugins to create the experience they want. There's stuff like Factions which you can install on your server, but they won't be much fun if there aren't other people playing it. Therefore I suggest your kids play on an existing server.

You can check here for a list of servers, in order of how many upvotes they have received: http://minecraftservers.org/
I suggest they first try out Hypixel or Mineplex, which are full of numerous minigames.

    Heey,

    Thanks for replying.

Its not realy the question of plug and play. I did find those servers and my kids play on them now and then.
But i want to give them the chance to be there creative selfs, to make there own stuff. And they ask me for some plugins and world creations to put into them.

So thanks for the reply but that not the answer i seek.

One more thing to fill in. When i open the server and click on the server file my command screen does nothing. I see a lot of ppl get a command screen where everything is loaded en such but mine comes op 1 sec and then its gone.

Don't worry, i fixed it. What i did was just copy a different kit then paste my kit into it.

How do i make it solved?

    Edit: i got it
