Players can't use signs (essentials)

i have used

- essentials.signs.warp.use

and still no one seems to be able to use signs still? please tell me what is wrong? Thanks

What version of Essentials are you using? The config doesn't look complete; I think it's because there are no comments like there'd normally be. Also, most importantly, there is no section that specifies the usable Essentials signs, like buy, sell, weather, gamemode, etc. At least in recent versions of Essentials, that config section is necessary for signs to work. And lastly, are you getting a stream of errors (big spammy weird-looking lines) in your console? If so, also post that in Pastebin.

 

Sorry i fixed that issue but now my people cant use any commands i set them in the nether or end and our prefix's go also when were not in the normal world ??? Thanks

 

@UnCalPlaysMC I'm sorry, can you say that again? It's pretty unclear to me, but what I got was that your players can't use any commands except for when they're in the overworld (not nether, not end), and that you only set the commands to work when they're not in the overworld. In other words, it sounds like you're getting what you set it to. If you want all the same commands & permissions to apply to all of the worlds, you should remove the per-world settings (if you have Pex; if you have GroupManager, you should use the config.yml to set all the worlds the same).

@UnCalPlaysMC The config has a world mirror section. You can make it so many different worlds will mirror the settings for just one world--for example, the world "world" could be mirrored by "world_nether" and "world_the_end".

Yeah I know how to do it, but I'm in no mood to explain it, nor will I be in the future. You should look up some tutorials on how to use it, or better yet go to their Wiki directly.

 

Mojang changed the way signs work and the Spigot version of Essentials has not re-added essentials signs.
