I am just wondering, with all the staff that left in the summer, how many are left now? Sorry if this seems obvious to anyone but I never did really know the extent of the team. Surely 34 people leaving is pretty serious.
@AdamQpzm And the ones that stick around while they said that they would leave ( yes, I am looking at you )
@bwfcwalshy @AdamQpzm @timtower It is so sad that the community just fell apart like this (on the development side at least). Does that mean that there are few moderators left and no one really in charge? Are any of the admins left?
@Markyroson Curse stepped in after the old staff resigned. They asked some people if they wanted to be moderator, nothing much changed since.
It is still a shame that all the staff jumped ship and resigned. I get their reasons for doing so and respect their decision but still think it is a mighty shame that they left regardless.
Such a thriving community, killed in cold blood by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act at the pinnacle of it's life time. May it rest in peace.
The demise of bukkit seemed to be larger than just one event, esp since it was a series of events that started before the DMCA came up, yet the sequence of events all spun together self-supportingly to resonate the end result. If a person is having a heart attack and gets struck by lightning while being hit by a bus, what killed him?
probably the slice of watermelon they ate for breakfast or the blueberry they ate 10 years prior on the very same day ;-)
dude wtf you scared him It would be the bus because lightning would hit the bus and dissipate off the rain fringe.
