Plugin category: Anti-Grief Tool Suggested name: OwnItt What I want: Hello, I am looking for a plugin that has the command of /own, it gives the tool that you are holding a unique ID and it sets your name, no one can change that but you, it's an anti-grief tool. It would give a unique id to a tool and will set your name too, no one could remove it but you so if someone steals your tools you can have evidence it was yours.

@freddyagogo I think what timtower was trying to say is how exactly do you use the owned item. If you dont own it, are you still allow to pick it up or not. What if it is moved by a plugin (like /invsee). You need to specify exactly what you mean so who ever is taking it up knows what you want
@Ruptur It's clear to me what he wants. He just wants information about the player attached to it. This way admins (through /invsee or similar) can see whether items are stolen or not.
Here the deal: Users: Player - Thief - Staff/Admin - Console/Whatever Player buys an amazing $400k tool Thief tells the Player if he can lend his amazing $400k tool Player gives the Thief his amazing $400k tool Thief keeps the tool. @freddyagogo Wait, but couldn't the thief just tell the player to change the ID before taking it? If the idea is to prevent them from stealing while making trades, it wouldn't be much help. Maybe to stop them from taking from chests, but otherwise it really doesn't help. I can also see how it would be a problem because some players would give items to other players without changing the ID and then accuse that player of stealing. It seems like a better idea would be to use some kind of safe trade plugin that does the exchange for you.
