Hi guys, I am new to the 'minecraft server setting up' stuff, and I am really confused! I am hosting my server through Triangle.gs and have paid to have some stuff. I have Bukkit GUI v2.0.0.287 Beta. I cannot get the latest recommended build or any of those, it says; ' Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.' for all of them. Then it says that the server.properties does not exist, when it is in my desktop. I have FileZilla, and have no idea what to do with it, but triangle.gs recommended it. I have version craftbukkit-1.8.6-R0.1-SNAPSHOT-latest and yeah. (I don't know?!) Also, how do I like link Bukkit to my server? It doesn't like My server IP so I have too use my ipv4 and port 80. HALP! OK guys thanks for reading, I would like help asap because I am going away this weekend and this is a small server with just my friends. ;D
I would suggest NOT using triangle.gs. Get 5% off when you enter "STRIKER" in live chat with http://neonnode.net/ The discount last for as long as you have your server. Or you could host if from your pc if your planning on running a private server. *This is not about Port forwarding*
