Plugin category: Suggested name: DrugSeller or DrugDealerBuy What I want: What I want is, that when you have drugs, you go to the drug dealer. The Drug dealer can be a Iron golem for example, when you right click him a GUI open's up. You put the drugs that you want to sell in there, and after you click on confirm, you get money for it. Ideas for commands: /dealer create, /dealer set, /dealer gui, /dealer money, these commands would be used to set up the drug dealer. Ideas for permissions: dealer.create, dealer.set, dealer.gui, dealer.money, dealer.interact, more permissions can be added When I'd like it by: Anything is fine, take you're time with this.
@RichardBob123, thank you for the time for doing this. @iCeTeaNL, it can work with any item, or be compatible with custom items.
Anyone else interested in making a plugin like this? Also, @RichardBob123 how is it going with the plugin? EDIT by Timtower: merged posts
@WalTheKid I think that you have the relationship wrong here, usually the "dealer" is the one selling, not buying But either way, simple plugin. If @RichardBob123 doesn't want to make it or doesn't respond in a few days I'll make it.
I can do it @AdamQpzm I should have it done by thursday or friday @WalTheKid Finals at my college are next week, so whenever I'm not totally drowning in homework I'll work on it.
@AdamQpzm , alright great, thanks for the offer as well. @RichardBob123 that'd be awesome, and good luck on your exams!
Alright, a few questions for you: 1) What does the /dealer money command do? 2) What does the /dealer set command do? 3) What entities do you want this to work for? Everything will be configurable in the config, including prices, items to sell, and entities. EDIT: Here is the first build of the plugin! Make sure you are using Java 8. It currently works with Iron Golems, but I will update it soon to work with any entity you want.
@RichardBob123 , I think the /dealer set command should set the location of the dealer in the current spot, it can work with any entity. @RichardBob123 , the items do not go in the gui. It does not work. :/ @RichardBob123 , there also should be a command where it removes the dealer as in /dealer remove (name) I also found another bug, the iron golem keeps attacking zombies. And the zombie's keep attacking the golem <Edit by mrCookieSlime: Merged posts. Please don't quintuple post. There is an Edit Button right next to the Date.>
If you have custom named items, only they can be put in the inventory. If you want any named item to be put in the inventory, just delete the custom name in the config and leave the name of the item and amount. Since all dealers are named the same as of right now, you will just have to do /dealer remove and click on the one you want to remove. I will fix the iron golem from attacking or being attacked.
@RichardBob123 The OP probably doesn't want this applied to every iron golem, only the ones that they specify. Also, plugins in this section are for Bukkit only - so please build your plugins for Bukkit, not a Bukkit alternative
@RichardBob123, could you possibly make it compatible with chestshop? Chest shop has a /iteminfo command which gives you the item id for custom items, it's a lot easier with it.
@WalTheKid I'll see what I can do. @AdamQpzm It is built for Bukkit 1.8, which you may think is an alternative, but is really just Bukkit that someone else updated to 1.8. If it was an alternate, I would post this on another website (a.k.a. Spigot). I'm working on making everything customizable as well. If you would read the project description, it clearly says "I will eventually update the plugin so you can use whatever entity you would like!" including custom names for each one. EDIT: I uploaded the new version, which overhauls the ENTIRE plugin. Its 500% better! You can grab it here. I added the hook for ChestShop's /iteminfo command to display the price of the item at the dealer.
Regardless, it isn't true Bukkit. It used to be called an "unofficial build", but has been renamed a "Bukkit alternative" by the more recent staff. The former used to be against the rules, the latter have their own section. You might think of it as the same, but they are different
