Hey guys, so after around a year break I'm launching another server, and yet again I am having issues with PEX, as far as I am aware the ladders ARE working however for some reason prefixes are not appearing in game, and I am unsure whether the perms are working or not because of only having myself to test. @MilkNCookies Do you have EssentialsChat installed? PermissionsEx will not display prefixes alone, but if you have EssentialsChat installed then you should be good.
Ahhh of course! I'm using an unofficial essentials ATM because they don't have a 1.8.1 release still, ill see if i can find an unofficial essentials chat, thanks dude!
@MilkNCookies Here seems to be a 1.8+ version of Essentials. I haven't tested it, but people are recommending it. I should probably update to 1.8 myself... https://hub.spigotmc.org/jenkins/job/Spigot-Essentials/
Hmmm thats the one I just installed, seems that it still isnt working! I wouldn't if I were you too much faffing around!
I use the suggested linked Essentials, and it works just fine on my Spigot 1.8 (Not CraftBukkit, although Spigot is made off of CraftBukkit? Idk). I also use PEX, and I'm also not having any issues there. Perhaps there's an error log you could show?
