   dropItemNaturally has been commonly said to "pop" the item.
   
   dropItem will spawn the item at the location and let it fall.
   
   dropItemNaturally will spawn the item at the location, apply a random vector to it ("pop" it in a random direction) and then drop it. It's what's used when an entity dies and its drops are dropped, for example.
