   So, I am trying to create a server for a friend, and host it myself. I got all the files downloaded, and it works on my LAN wifi IP. When I try to use the IP I got from Ipchicken, it doesn't work. I tried setting the IP in the server files to the one from IPchicken, it doesn't work. I have both UTorrent and my Port Forewarding on my wifi set up, as 25565. I don't understand what's wrong.
   Ive also made sure the server files are RUNNING. Everything seems normal...

   @captaintortillas_ Go here http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm Then choose your router, then your model number, then Minecraft. It will give you a proper explanation for port forwarding. Most likely you made a mistake somewhere.
