What license do I use?

    I'm hoping to post my first plugin. What license do I use?

    Forgot to ask, what does custom license mean?

    No, you use a GPL compatible license, nothing else. Bukkit and CraftBukkit are distrubuted under the GPL license, and as such, any software that references their software either statically (not the way Bukkit is built) or dynamically (how Java generally works), must be licensed under a GPL compatible license.
