Hey, I have my own kitpvp server and I want to add a custom ip that is play.ramenpvp.com or ramenpvp.com but all I find are ips like .no-ip. Anyone know where I can get that? Thanks!
Buy the domain from http://www.namecheap.com/ then look-up a tutorial on that website for setting it up. There are a lot.
If you have a host and they provide domains you can get it there. Then they can change the DNS settings but it might work out more expensive. I did this when I didn't know anything about servers but now I know.
You can also get it from GoDaddy for $4.99 the first year. If you are going to buy the domain name for two years then get GoDaddy, if you are only going to have it for one year, get NameCheap.
