When is craftbukkit going to be back?

Craftbukkit has been down for a while now and im starting to get worried that it wont be back up.
I was looking forward to 1.8 and was wondering if anyone knows when it will be back up?

Short answer: no one knows.

 

I would probably say, never. Most of the team has left. And the DMCA rendered a lot of the code unusable.

 

And with the introduction of Realms, where Mojang/Microsoft makes money from server hosting instead of other companies, there might be an economical/political issue as well.

I think it's a dead end. But it was fun while it lasted.
