    PwnCraft is an advanced system of classes and leveling that grants unique abilities as you level. You can gain experience by mining, placing blocks, killing monsters, and especially killing players. PwnCraft adds a RPG and PvP experience to your server unlike any you have ever seen. Even if your server isn't PvP oriented, the RPG aspect of PwnCraft is still amazing due to our fantastic class system. Watch the video below for a preview of the Wizard.

    * Wizards now gain experience by casting spells to compensate for the cost of reagents
    * All of the warriors abilities have been fixed (There was a miscommunication on file transfer between Danton and myself, causing most warrior abilities to bug)
    * Assassins are now slowed in stealth
    * Player kills now grant between 10 and 50 EXP per kill
    * Mining gold ore now only grants 4 EXP per block to prevent exploiting the experience system
    * Blink is now only usable on a targeted block within a 40 block distance
    * All instances of the class "Soldier" instead of "Warrior" in the help menu have been changed
    * Added the armor limitations to Wizards (The limitation is leather armor only; it was on Assassins before and I forgot to add in the line to limit the wizard as well)
    * Blast now affects a slightly larger area to ease targeting issues
    * Many wizard cool-downs have been lowered to foster more active spell usage

    * Changed the OP fix to no longer require logging in and out
    * Changed the OP fix to no longer require "offlineOPs.txt"
    * Greatly simplified the logic of checking for OP (Should work much more smoothly now)

    Version 1.04
    * Adjusted the reward for killing players to prevent kill trading "power leveling"
    * Nature's Grasp now begins to despawn after 10 seconds
    * Fixed the issue with never ending slows and sprint
    * Fixed all issues with joining as an OP (This includes Essentials and pretty much every other conflicting plugin) (If you are an OP you must join your server, close Minecraft, and rejoin your server after every server reset to make it work. If you have logged in since a server reset, you do not have to do this.)
    * Added "offlineOPs.txt" to prevent any loss of OP names due to the new compatibility fixes.

    * Adjusted the ordering in the onPlayerJoin method to hopefully solve failure to initialize players into the HashMap
    * Added back the "/pc help leveling EXP" command that I accidentally deleted
    * Prevented NullPointerException from the checkTS method

    This is a big problem, and i think the only problem with the plugin that we have on our server.

    Otherwise it works fine.. any ideas?

    Hello guys, PwnCraft don't work with jobs plugin and when i log my character and move ...
    pwn's commands doesn't work too with Jobs plugin

    Please help, we will have to disable the plugin untill the assassin sprint/wizard frost attack is fixed

    Whatever you guys use to modify player velocity for a duration is breaking..

    Another bug - the nature's grasp tree wont despawn by itself unless someone removes a leaf block

    Heres why its a problem - someone puts a tree on someone in a worldgaurd protected area... neither player can destroy the tree so it never disappears.

    One last bug... All of these spells go through godmode/pvp disabled areas

    That is a very big problem, and one that we will get on right away. From our testing, though, the plugin seems to be pretty much bug-free, and the errors that we've encountered so far are from interactions with other plugins (When we test, we don't know which plugins to test against. We can't test them all!). If you could tell us what other plugins you are using besides PwnCraft, we would be able to remedy the problem much more quickly.

    This actually goes for all bug that people post; other plugins is the main variable that differentiates between our server and yours that we cannot account for in testing/debugging. We would like to make PwnCraft work with whatever plugin you want to use, but first we need to know which plugins are the ones causing problems.

    Also, we had not considered non-PvP areas, and will begin working on that as well.

    I will be adding a configuration feature at a later time.

    Possibly, but that will change as we release more classes. Again, testing will tell us what to do.

    Trying man! We're trying! We HAVE to solve these bug issues first! :p

    Well that is odd... I'll add in a remove on death, just in case something like that happens. Should prevent any errors; sorry, bad coding on my part for missing that.

    Did NOT even think about something like that! Good call, I'll add in a leaf de-spawn like I did for the snow bomb.

    Bleh! I'll have to add in support for pvp disabled areas... Which plugin does everyone use to make pvp areas and non pvp areas?

    Attacks are meant to be on left clicks. This is because we do NOT want to interfere with the right click action of the reagents.
    As for the problem with animals: I am aware of this. However, I am hesitant to solve this because of the way spells work. Against players, we simply scan every online player and check stuff to see if it hits. No problems there because even a large number of players like 100 is only 100 players to scan. To hit entities, however, we would have to scan every entity... Seeing as there are 4x the surface area of the earth in a regular Minecraft world filled with animals and monsters, that would destroy even the best servers.
    I will be testing a possible alternate approach to detecting monster hits at a later date that I believe will work, but it will take some time and fixing compatibility issues is my #1 priority right now.

    I don't really mean to put more burden on you, but it would be AWESOME if you could pull out all your plugins except PwnCraft and add them in one by one to discover the problem plugin(s). If you do or don't wish to do this, drop a message here to let me know.

    Hah! I suppose you could if you wanted to... I'm not sure how well it would work out, though... Honestly to all the questions about using multiple "level" oriented plugins, I would find the plugin that best fits your server and use that one. They really all fill different niches.

    A couple of side notes:
    1. I have noticed that some people have contributed quite a bit to the bug fixing of PwnCraft. Anyone I see that I feel has made significant contributions to PwnCraft (debugging, suggestions for improving logic/code, etc) will receive an in-game recognition of some kind (be it ability, or class, or whatever). We really do GREATLY appreciate all of the help that has been given out and wish to recognize those who have helped so much!
    2. Sadly, I had to put my dog down earlier today (which I can't remember not having). Needless to say, today has been a rough day. So please, don't be angry if the Essentials fix isn't out today as promised. I am working my best given the circumstances. Also, forgive me if I sounded rude or terse in any of the above posts; I really am a friendly person most of the time.

    With that infinite-sprint/frostbomb bug Gdirty's server is experiencing, it affects pretty much ALL duration-based spells. I just noticed that my invisibility lasts forever unless i cancel it with an attack. Any idea which one of those plugins gdirty listed might be interfering with it?

    Ranger/druid heals in rain? I know conditionals like that are terrible because what if they have rain disabled...Also, slightly depressing that blast has no animation, maybe have it place fire then imediatly remove it like what happens when flint and steel is disabled via world guard, also IDK if you niticed this but the pvp to pve exp is a little unbalanced, my players take turns killing each other to power level... each kill gives 500exp and each death removes 100exp...

    Bah, always have to account for people like that I suppose... Way to go guys, now killing a player is only going to grant 20 EXP max. Dying might be changed to 1% of your current EXP also.
    For the animation: That is EXACTLY what we wanted to do. But, it caught players on fire! :( The ability would be way too OP if it caught people on fire, and we need the wizard to have a low cool down, low damage spell. Any other ideas for the animation? We REALLY want an animation for it but can't think of any.

    I'll add a config in later. More pressing matters like bugs are being worked on currently.

    That is because on snow, ice, water, ladder, and air we stop all movement increasing abilities. Doesn't make much since that a player can sprint in those circumstances. :p

    Alright... What about it?

    Side note:
    If you have a question, read through these posts first. I make huge replies with the questions and answers not just for the person who asked them, but for everyone who has questions. I'm about to stop responding to repeated questions. Please, a little more work for you means a lot less work for me. :) (I might make a FAQ in my spare time.)

    Hmmm what other types of blocks lay on the ground....redstone wire? how about a circle (square) of glowing redstone wire...doubt that will catch people on fire but getting it to be on might be tricky

    players compliaining that they lose exp when server restarts, I did not experience this myself though

    Hmm... I could do a circle of glowing redstone wire... That seems OK.

    As for that, if the player wishes to save his/her EXP he/she MUST exit the game. EXP will not be saved if they are kicked or server restarted on.

    Back wth somemore minor bugs:
    Blink does not cancel momentum so if your falling and blink to a ledge you splat on that ledge instead of the ground...also idk if it's intended but there is a maximum range for blink, tried blinking sown a deep hole and only teleported half way there stopped in the air and fell to my death....

    EDIT: also runecraft does not get along with runecraft (just error spams)

    @ballaman... I assume your using essentials chat... They do not get alog, use iChat instead

    Err... Are you using only PwnCraft? Did you delete your PwnCraftInformation file? Are you getting a message in your console that says: "Player data successfully stored into \"PwnCraftInformation.yml\"." whenever a player logs out?

    I will try to fix the momentum thing, hopefully I can get that to work. As for the maximum range: that is 100% intended. It would be ridiculously OP to blink as far away as you wanted to.

    Err... That is exactly what another plugin does...?

    Can you tell me what plugin conflicts with it so I can start testing against that plugin?

    Any idea what other plugins aren't compatible with this yet? Im having compatibility issues. I'm thinking it may have to do with Residence, EpicZones, or HeroChat?

    Apparently some chat plugins are having issues... Other than that, I really need for the users to test which plugins create problems.

    We need an idea for the ranger level 7 ability! Keep in mind, it must be beyond awesome! Don't suggest things like volley, that would be a low level ability... We need a damn good level 7 ability!

    for the maximum range, can you place "that's farther than your magic powers extend" or "your magic cannot safely take you that far!" instead of working but only teleporting them half way? for level 7 ability....probably to big and a bit to stealy for this plugin but..Tame? like the monster tamer plugin? instead of just a wolf the ability to tame anything? if not how about critical strike or tnt arrows fo the bow (don't blow up terrain though)
