Where to make Custom Plugins

    You need plugins in your IDE to get a good experience with any of them though.

    Personally used Eclipse. Most associated with beginners.

    There are other great IDEs already mentioned, such as IntelliJ and NetBeans.

    You could also use Notepad or pretty much any text editor (e.g. sublime text) to write out code and use Java compiler to compile but an IDE makes this process easier for you.

    if i were you i would use Eclipse, with this application you've got the best overview to everything you need. Just check it out. i'm using it too :)

    I recommend Netbeans, for both its versatility, ease of use, and just the general quality of it. A lot of people don't like it for its looks, but I think they're just fine.
