    plugin name: MineZ Message
    Config: N/A
    Permissions: n/a
    Commands : @[playername] [message]
Sending the message will then have you see this in your chatbox (To [playername]) [message] . The person who recieved the message will see in their chatbox (From [playername]) [message] .

If possible, could you make it so that I can type out some of the letters of a person's name, but still send the message? I.E if I wanted to send a message to a person named notch on my server, I could say @not instead of Notch . It's kindof like an autofiller. If there is someone else on the server with those letters, a light red (&c) message should pop up in your chat saying "There is someone else with those letters" .

Here is an example of the plugin.

When I would like it by? ASAP I really need it D:

    Thanks!
    And as always, godspeed. ;)

I'd like just a simple plugin, I don't need a versatile plugin. I only need this plugin for messaging.

mrdude123 Don't know exactly, I search, find, check features, suggest.
And you can also do this with CommandHelper. Loads of customizability. If you want to use commandhelper then I can make an example script for you

Don't worry about it. I just want a small plugin for this one thing. :)

Should it use the actual player name or their display name (ranks, nickname, etc)? Or should I make that configurable?

We won't have anyone on the server with a nickname, so just have it use the default playername.
Remember, the message in chat when you send/recieve is supposed to be grey. (&7)
(From/To [playername]): [message] is how it looks in chat.
@[playername] [message] is the command to send.

If you need to, the picture above shows how it's supposed to look.
If it's not too hard, I'd like the format to be configurable. It's your call if you wanna make it configurable that or not.
CHAT FORMAT IS: (From/To [playername]): [message]
    Thanks!

P.S Sorry for so many edits, I'm a mess of typos.

This shows the only bug I can think of. Thanks!

Hmmm, that seems odd, this did not occur on my server. Are there any errors in console? It seems like the chat event is not being cancelled correctly.

Tell me when ya finish it :)

And no, there's no bugs or errors in console. I think it's the chat event.

Are you using Craftbukkit/Spigot/?, and what version? I'm using Craftbukkit 1.7.10 and I don't notice any bugs.

Also are there any other plugins installed that could be interfering with the chat event? I might have to move the event priority up if this is the case.

    Let me check. 2 minutes.

It's using craftbukkit. No other plugins that could interfere. It is 1.7.10

Okay, I submitted a new version for approval that raises its priority and does a couple of other things to make sure the event is cancelled. If it still doesn't work then I believe it would be a server bug and you may want to try another build.

Ok thanks. But can't you just send the .jar file to a website like mediafire, and then link me it?

mrdude123 Approval only takes 2 hours max these days. Worth waiting in my opinion.
