GitHup is a simple update checker. With GitHup, you don't need to worry about file hosting and update information hosting anymore! GitHup is an update checker that based on GitHub - you can put your version information and files on GitHub and simply get them in your plugins with GitHup. GitHup does not check for updates automatically when the server boots. I don't think, that this is allowed in plugins one dbo. Look at the project submission guide: "To implement version checking and acquisition of file URLs for download, you may only utilize Curse's ServerMods API"
I think this would be better if it used the GitHub API and the release system. Otherwise it is a strange setup
