Editing a Plugin

I have attempted to contact the owner of this plugin several times, but he doesn't seem to be replying to them. This plugin is essentials for my server. It is PItemMenu, a plugin that opens GUI's via commands and is set-up through the config. If someone could edit it for me so that your allowed to add two commands in the config for the menus and not only 1 I'd be great full, here is a link to PItemMenu - http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/pitemmenu/

 

I wouldn't want to edit it because it's not my plugin and therefore I don't want to mess with it. Usually, there is an external command that sets an alias. For example, if I wanted a GUI to be opened up with /open, I might be able to type in /alias open set <name>

Not sure how this plugin works, just looked at it, it looks like it's /menu open <name>...
