Bukkit 1.8

Does anyone know when 1.8 will come out? or have any details on it?

 

To elaborate, some ♥♥♥♥ went down this morning.

 

It got DMCA'd unfortunately. (According to this post: http://dl.bukkit.org/dmca/notification.txt)

 

When will it come out? When the dust settles, and Dinnerbone has a chance to work on it. I imagine that whole "dust settling" thing could take weeks to resolve.

 

I'm afraid the notion of it taking weeks to resolve is an understatement. This whole thing is most likely dead, but hopefully not. If it gets resolved in our favor, it probably will take no less than 6 months to a year.

 

Hindsight is 20/20, is it not? Considering the post I made is a few days old, and made prior to the mass exodus of individuals from the project, I'm not entirely sure what your point is.
