I see 1.8 servers running Bukkit?

    How are they doing this? I have a 1.7.10 server running a Bukkit build, and I would like to run 1.8. I understand that 1.8 items won't be available to be access but I want 1.8 clients to be able to connect.

    Locked.
    They are using a non-supported and unstable protocol hack. They are not running 1.8 bukkit.
