I am making a plugin for the first time in my life (I know Java a little bit) and I made a simple (broken) plugin that gives a diamond sword with the command /dmsword (playername), but the console shows some errors when I try to type a command.

    This is the code:

    And here is the log:

What ? We are talking about a plugin, not a server.

That's not my server, I just created it to test my plugin lol

Necrodoom I exclusively test my plugins on a localhost server in offline mode. It doesn't mean I run an offline mode server for the public. Seems to me that that's all is being done here. Let's not automatically assume the worst of everybody.

Interpret it as you will. From my understanding, Bukkit does not support custom builds, or running a public server in offline mode (in order to promote buying Minecraft). I purchased my copy, and I use offline mode for testing my own plugins so that I can do so when I don't have internet access.

If it enables properly, and I'm assuming it has if you can execute a command, it should. I don't know why it wouldn't be.

Locked. Regardless of whether your server is offline just for testing purposes or whether it is offline publicly, if you want support on these forums then the server needs to be online. Yes, there are valid reasons for occasionally using offline mode and testing can be one of them, but we have no way of verifying that every person asking for support with an offline server is only using offline for "testing". Hence, no offline support, period.
