    Hello Forum :)
I did some researches on this topic already, but I couldn't find a clear answer. Does the entity-UUID match the Players-Entity every time?
I did some tests with two Player on a Server getting their UUID before and after a relog and a server restart. Their UUID still remained the same. Could this be a coincidence or is the players entity-UUID a unique and persistent id for the Player itself to?
Caution: As the title says I'm searching for an answer that's related to version 1.6.4!
Hope I didn't confuse you guys  , but I tried my best explaining what I want to know ;) .

Backfighter, to my knowedge, it does stay the same, seeing that entity is a superclass of player.

I belive UUID (used to identify a player account) on 1.7 isn't on 1.6.x, so you can safely use player names, I belive the UUID being the same on the 1.6 its because the name is the only variable used to the UUID, so it'll remain the same.

You can't even test since the rename feature isnt avaliable yet (i belive)...

@EDIT; reading carefully the Tecno_Wizard post and your post, I noticed that I misunderstood what you're asking, and on code, the entity UUID will be the same as the player (read tecno_wizard's post)

    Are u a 100% sure, because I'm not :s
If a player disconnects doesn't Minecraft destroy the Player-Entity and create a new one if he reenters?
Or is the UUID in 1.6.4 related to the Name or is it saved?
