So I made my two first simple but working plugins both in version 1.7.10. And I wanted to upload them to bukkit dev. But then I noticed that I need a license. Can anybody tell me how to get a license?

Read the description of the licenses on the website if you don't know witch one.
You can edit your projects and change the license on the dev bukkit website.

So I made a plugin that is called /munchy and it feeds you so basically like the classic /feed what license do I need for that?

LordStrongbow12 the one that you want.
If you aren't using code from another plugin, other plugins do not concern you.

Question remains however why would you want to upload a plugin when other plugins already do the job correctly.

So I can pick a random one that has a cool name?

LordStrongbow12 you would pick the one that addresses how you would like your plugin to be treated.
Do you want people to use your source code? Would you require people to credit you if they do? Can they make modifications to your code and rerelease it? Etc. Picking a license is rather important so you shouldn't just pick any.

So I want that my code cant be used again only if they have permission. Which license would I pick?

  12. LordStrongbow12 Given the overwhelmingly large number of plugins that can do this, the fact it's one of the things a beginner will first learn to do, the fact you admit it's just like /feed, and the incredibly simple nature of it, I really doubt people will use your code regardless of license.

That was an example sorry English isn't my first language. What I actually just want to do is upload it and maybe I will get like a few friends to use it. I dont care if anybody re-uses the code except the command name.

  14. LordStrongbow12 Well then I'm sorry but you can't really copyright the command name of "munchy". People can reuse it if they want.

Okay, then what would the copyright be for my needs?
