Would I be allowed to do this?

I have been making custom plugins for a few different servers, would I be allowed to add a hidden command to delete all of my plugins and their data if they screwed me over, this command would only effect my plugins and their datafolders.

 

Interesting. If they paid you for the plugin, I don't think it'd be legal to take control of it and deleting all their files. That's like selling a toy in a store with a bomb inside it. If anyone writes a bad review, the manufacturer triggers it. I doubt you could do that.

I read about a method of protecting your plugins a while back and have actually used it in a few private plugins of mine. Basically, you add a check in onEnable that goes to a web page, reads a true/false value from it, and then disables if it finds 'false'. Simple, easy way of disabling your plugin without doing any damage to the server.
