Hey Bukkit developers. I am creating a plugin and I wanted to know if there was a way to have a cracked account (fake username/account) and let it connect to my local server so that I can test my plugin.

I have tried connecting from my laptop (server is on my desktop) in offline mode and then reconnect to the internet, but it still connects with my username so I get kicked off of the server on my desktop.

Any help would be appreciated greatly! Thank you.

Hmm, the circumstances of the server would be great. Do you need the second Player for PvP? PvE? Then we could maybe offer you other solutions. However, if you require another player for testing, maybe ask on Minecraftforums.

I just need to other player to run a command on. I cant use the console for it lol. And I don't want to ask someone else to help me with the testing because then I have to port forward and explain everything. It just is more of a hassle.

    #1: Buy an alt
#2: Use Google to assist you with obtaining an alt
#3: Make the command usable by console and use console to perform it on you.
#4: Set server to offline mode where you can then login with non-premium accounts.

You could get a free dev server from NodeCraft and then get a friend to help you.
