Plugin category: Admin Suggested name: Auto Server Shutdown Plugin What I want: When a player joined a particular world, the server will automatically shutdown after a countdown..And there will be message sending to player before the countdown start. The world name , time for the countdown and also the message will be set in the config file. Ideas for commands: No commands needed for this plugin. Ideas for permissions: No permissions needed for this plugin. When I'd like it by: ASAP,thank you!!
curious why you'd want this. does it stop the server when a player joins (logs into the server) into the world, warps/teleports into the world, etc.? can the countdown be stopped or reset in any way? are any players exempt from triggering this (e.g., ops)? do we start the countdown if there are players in other worlds? are periodic countdown reminder messages sent (e.g., "5 minutes to server shutdown"... "2 minutes to server shutdown") or just the initial one? what sort of time frames are expected (seconds, days)? shouldn't be difficult to code up once details are hashed out.
This plugin needed for a mini-game plugin, and i run with bungeecord After a team win the game, they will be teleport to a map, and the server will shutdown for resetting the arena. It stop the server when players teleport into the world. The countdown could stop by /xxx stop command. All players wont exempt from triggering the plugin. Once a player was teleported to the world that assign in the config file, the countdown will start automatically even have players in other world. Periodic countdown reminder messages sent, the countdown will be within 30 seconds. thank you..
Are you saying the winning team gets transported to a world where they will have permission to restart the entire server? And you will only allow this command to work in that "winning world" so people cannot restart server in other worlds? Are they removed that world/map when the server restarts somehow?
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ief7wshyg2beteh/ShutdownWorldJoin.jar There we go, everything is in the config file.
d'oh! I'd have finished the plugin if it weren't for this pesky "work" thing. actually we had a BBQ and I drank beer so I'm not that upset about it after all
