Client displays wrong max players

    max players in server.properties is set to 490.
    /who shows the correct number
    My website shows the correct number,

    <removed advertising>

    The app on my phone (Admine) shows the correct number.
    But Minecraft client does not,

    I have rebooted the server, no luck. I did have a test server set up on the same port with 24 players, but that was completely removed, but 24 has been shown ever since.
    The number does not change if I use the subdomain, IP, different port.
    Any idea?

    Mind posting your plugins list? A plugin could be editing the MOTD and the MaxPlayers.

    Nope, this is a dedicated server.
