    Plugin category: Mechanics, Fun

    Suggested name: ScoreboardRadar

What I want: A radar displayed by the scoreboard that shows players and mobs. I want it to look like a radar, not just text telling you how far each entity is away.
I want this to only be active when the player is holding a compass in their hand. The compass should also point in the direction of the nearest monster or player.

Example: Here's what a scoreboard might look like, but you can do it differently if you must.
    RADAR
    s
    cz
    ^
    p
    p
The letters are the first letter of each monster's type, but P being a player. The ^ in the center is the player using the radar and which way they are facing. Now for the colors.. Grey means that player or monster is a few blocks or more below them. Blue means they are a few or more blocks above. And green means the player or monster is around the same height as the player (1-3 block at most).
    Ideas for commands:
/radar - Brings up or removes radar (toggle command)
    Ideas for permissions:
scoreradar.use - Access to using the radar.
    scoreradar.toggle - Access to the /radar command.
When I'd like it by: As Soon as Possible

Yeah I know it's in a mod, but I want it recreated in a bukkit plugin.

Ok, but, would that break any 'copying' things? I mean, would it be considered copying?

I've looked around and haven't seen any plugin that does this.

I don't think copying a mod is against anything. I've requested a mod recreated into a plugin before, and have seen many more plugins that are inspired from a mod.. Also, it's just a radar.
