The title says it all, I know that to determine mining time without efficiency nor haste when your using the correct tool its [base time]/[tool base mining speed], like for obsidian its 75/8 = 9.375, but what formula do they use when efficiency and haste are involved? Thanks for reading, looking forward to your reply :)

If you can't find it, or no one posts it. I would suggest setting up MCP and going through Minecraft's files to find what you're looking for.

Debels you said without efficiency. efficiency takes table time and does time / 1.3^level as far as I understand.

    Yes I did,
what about haste? (The effect you get by beacons)

Debels oh, sorry. Looked at wiki, seems to be like efficiency. Time / 1.3^efflevel / 1.2^hastelevel, but probably needs testing.

Necrodoom interesting, where are you finding those formulas? because from all the searches I made I came out empty handed...

Yeah the formula seems to add up, it gives me a little different, but that is to expect from different decimals.

Debels I just went to MC wiki and saw that haste, for example, is 20% faster per level, so I just applied math first level is time / 1.2, second level is time / 1.2 / 1.2, which means time / 1.2^level.
