Remove the blue item lore line

Under item's you allways have this line defined by there type, this isn't real lore or itemmeta because when you flush the item meta it is still there. I think it's defined by the type. Any idea how to remove it?

 

Get item meta, and set lore to a empty string.

 

Its not a part of the lore, as i mentioned. it is probably a part of the material.

 

I don't think you can remove it, it only shows when you are in the search area of the creative menu

Yes you can't, once you drop the item it's gone. This is because the lore is client side. the +2 damage on tools isn't client side i think

Afaik possible, but not with Bukkit alone. If I recall correctly, you have to edit the attributes in the NBT of an ItemStack. (But as mentioned before, there is no API for that yet)
