Not able to deleted or place blocks.

Hello, I recently updated the bukkit server I run and replaced almost all the plugins with the latest versions. Upon logging in I found I could not delete or place blocks. I've done process of elimination and still wasn't able. Currently all the plugins are in a backup directory and not in the plugin directory. I myself run Windows 7 64-bit with 3 GB RAM. This was also tested on a system running Windows 7, 4 GB and a netbook with Ubuntu Netbook 10.10 with 1 GB of RAM. None of them were able to delete or place blocks.

The server it is running on is Ubuntu 10.04 LTS with 1.5 GB RAM. It ran it fine at build 711, but not now.

do this:
run a vanilla minecraft server, see if you can place/delete blocks
run a craftbukkit server with no plugins, see if you can place/delete blocks
that will help a ton

 

I did it with vanilla and it didnt work
