What does a Prison Server require?

Hello there!
I am looking to buy another server to join it with my current one and on the new server it will be Prison on it. Now, i don't have a lot of players on the server, just 3-6/40 regular players. I would like to know how much ram will Prison need + the players. Thank you.

well how much ram you need depeds on how many players you want and how many plugins you want

I don't know what prison is, but I would do this:
Max GB = max_expected_player/20
And expect around 1-2 GB for the plugins if you use many.

BTW, my network is using about 2.5 GB without any players on it

 

A prison server generally needs a prison and a server maybe some plugins

 

Prison servers (as does any server) require a bit of time to set up. Seeing as player do not free roam, you will need a nice map to give them something to look at.

Plugins I would suggest strictly for a prison based server:
- Paid Ranks
- Mine Reset
- Plotme

Of course there are more, but those are the main 3 that will give you a decent start..
