Soo i just setup my server and finally found out that i used my internal ip but it worked.
But now realized that i used the local ip and want to use the external but i dont work like with the local ip.
So this is my port forwarding setup:
Maybe i have to choose another port or something but i allways get this:
    Code:
2011-01-25 15:13:35 [INFO] Starting minecraft server version Beta 1.2_01
    2011-01-25 15:13:35 [INFO] Loading properties
2011-01-25 15:13:35 [INFO] Starting Minecraft server on 87.102.190.66:25565
2011-01-25 15:13:35 [WARNING] **** FAILED TO BIND TO PORT!
2011-01-25 15:13:35 [WARNING] The exception was: java.net.BindException: Cannot
    assign requested address: JVM_Bind
2011-01-25 15:13:35 [WARNING] Perhaps a server is already running on that port?
    any help

as long as its the current ip on this site www.whatismyip.org your internet provider will change it once in a while as long as you don't have a static external ip. dyndns.com you can go there register, type your current ip, then go to your rooter and register the dns with your accoutn information from dyndns.com . And then you can use the adress(this allows you to make people connect with f.example whateveryouwant.dyndns.org:25565) you chose, even if your external ip changed.
