Plugin category: Fun, Role Playing, Economy, Admin, World editing / Management, Mechanics Suggested name: CityRP The Idea: The Basic Idea Is that you choose a job and then roleplay with that job. When You choose a job you can then buy products (e.g. Wepons Dealer Can Buy Swords) And then sell It on for more money then what he/she bought it for. Advanced Features: As the president you earn tax (where as other jobs its set money + profits from selling items at higher price then import) and that tax can be changed from 0-20% and it takes that percentage away from the others job incomes and gives the money to the president. Players dont just get money from selling items but also just every 30 minutes each job gets a paycheck, this is what gets effected by tax Another advanced Feature is that jobs don't make there products with crafting tables they buy them, In there inventory there is 2 items (configureable) 1 you right click and switch job (shows different jobs in a gui screen) And Another Shows The items your current job can import to sell. You also have a ender chest in your inventory which is your global inventory. Every time you change job your inventory resets Except the global inventory. If you die your Normal inventory Drops all its items Except For your global one. (or if you work for the government because they spawn with Items So they don't drop them) One of the most important features is (this can be done with other plugins) is that you set a region on the map (the inside of a building e.g. a shop) and then people can buy that shop. Once they have bought it they can build in it to the make the shop look better, When inside the shop The player Gets a creative feature where they can spawn items (only blocks) where they can make it look more personalized. Each player can only buy up to a configured ammount of rooms. Cars, Done with minecarts, But with different names and with those you can go faster or slower (depending on the car) Cars need fuel to move and you go to Gas station to refuel. Some Minecarts Have multiple seats (two minecarts attached to eachother if possable?) When a player Logs off ALL of his placed Items and owned Shops Must reset / Despawn and a player only keeps there global inventory. There job also resets to Citizen. MySQL support will be needed for all the data. Every job Except Government Can Buy ContraBanned Which includes drugs and money printers! these give the player money over time but are Highly Illegal Each player online can only place a max ammount of blocks (25-30) Need to be able to set regions for job spawns, refule areas (for cars) and shops etc The police and sru must both get a undroppable / giveable kit which has items like a batton, tazer, wepon etc. Chat: - Local Chat (default) - Global Chat & Local chat (global chat is done with /OCC [Message] & local is just normal chat) - Radio Where Anyone Who works for Government, Rebel Or Corleone All have a radio which only people in those jobs can see Jobs: President - Sets Tax, Laws & warrants people for an arrest before someone goes to jail SRU Sergeant - Protects The President & The Nexus and can be called out to go to dangerous places where there is allot of murder. SRU (SRU - Strategic Response Unit) - Follows The Sergeants Commands Police Sergeant - Head of the police that stop crime and send people to a jail if they doIllegal activity's Police Officer - Follows sergeants Commands and patrol's the streets for crime Fire Man - Puts out fires which are caused by crashed cars or mortloves Paramedic - Can heal anyone and there-self Nexus Desk Secretary - Arranges Appointments to see the president. Doctor - Sells Medical Supplies and Some Drugs e.g. Steroids to run faster Weapons Dealer - Sells Weapons & Ammo Chef - Sells Food Taxi Driver - Drives People to different Parts of the map in cars (mine carts) Citizens - The unemployed Or The job that allows them to have custom jobs e.g. House sales man, where they would buy lots of houses and sell them on etc. Security Guard - Gets Hires and works to protect the shops Black Market Dealers - Sells Illegal Items Like Drugs And Items To Craft, explosives etc Rebel Leader - Sets Objectives for the rebels to follow and leads them, Rebels hate society and rather being out the city, There often Poor Rebel - Follows There leaders commands And Hates society etc Don Corleone - The leader of the mafia and underground crime, Hates rebels. Corleone - Follows the Don Corleone Commands and are often very rich. Items: Tazer for police which freezes the target (must be within 3 blocks) Arrest batton to arrest somone ONCE they have a warrant Door Ram which can be used to break down doors to search a house (Must have a search warrant) Guns OR Renamed items with different damage / abilitys or lore w/ ammo Ideas for commands: /givemoney [ammount] [Player] (must work with vault and have MySQL support) /set tax 0 - 20 - President Only /radio [message] /broadcast [Laws] - President Only (most other things are done with the compass) /demote [player] - If a player is not following orders etc (fail Rping) Then there Leader (e.g. President, Don Corleone or Rebel Leader) Can demote them. /warrant [name] arrest/search reason /request warrant [name] arrest/search reason For police and SRU only. Ideas for permissions: rp.player.defult - Means they get all jobs and commands Except SRU rp.player.donator - Same as above But gets SRU rank as-well rp.player.admin - Can demote anyone from a job (for Fail RP) I would like this plugin to have a config, MySQL Database support and vault support! Is this the same as DarkRP? On topic: Seems like a GREAT plugin to make, but sadly it is too difficult for me.
Yes that is what i mean. In a way yes and no. If you have Garry's mod play a game mode called cityrp (there is 3-4 servers.) its a gamemode like darkrp but less kill kill kill and more rp rp rp, of you get me. There is still aspects of darkrp but its more complex and more sleek. And yes i did not expect anyone to make this. Its a huge request and something people would want to be paid for :/ But any plugins like this or have any aspects of this would be awesome. Allot of this can be done with many plugins put together and using permissions but i still cant find a good job plugin and custom cars with names etc. The presidents tax idea is something i really want in a job plugin.
