1.7.7 update

Perhaps I'm missing something, because I've searched everywhere, but how are servers with plugins able to run in 1.7.7 already? Are these servers running on something other than bukkit? I was under the impression that bukkit developers had to wait for bukkit 1.7.7 to be released before they could run 1.7.7 plugins on a 1.7.7 server. Perhaps I am wrong.

They could decompile Bukkit and update it themselves. Or they're just using some other builds.

 

Custom BungeeCord set up to manipulate outgoing packets depending on the client version. Doing this 1.7.5->1.7.7 wasn't very complicated as not too much was changed.
