Blank lines at login

Hello
I have a problem since I've installed NoCheatPlus. It keeps spamming blank lines after someone logins. I also tried to remove NCP, but it remains the same... it's really annoying. Can anyone help me?

 

there is a problem with an Essentials build where lines ending in &f are blank. Try removing the &f in your configuration files.

 

Hm.... could you be more specific please? Where can I remove that?
I dont use Essentials anti build ( removed it ) tho.
But the problem appeared after I installed NoCheatPlus.

 

What version of Craftbukkit are you running?

 

craftbukkit-1.7.2-R0.3-20131221.081113-1

 

There were some older versions of Craftbukkit that had a blank line problem. Your version, while pretty old, should be OK.

It is "invisible" color codes sent to the player to deactivate /activate client features for some clients like Zombe. You can turn off any sending of color codes, setting protection.clients.motd.active to false in the configuration of NCP (just search for motd).

 

Ah, ha. Although I'm not entirely sure what this means:

 

clients:
motd:
active: false
allowall: false

I've set it to false, but it still shows blank lines

I am quite sure that this is another plugin or a config with accidental blank lines or so. But i won't close the ticket until i have rechecked the code of NCP, if there could be any bugs. setting protection.clients.motd.active to false should prevent NCP from sending any blank lines.
