Not sure if this exists already or not, (let me know if it does). A friend of mine who was recently running a couple of servers for our group of friends recently quit mine craft and shut down the server, because mine craft was eating up his life. He would end up doing long binges of minecraft every night, and of this group of friends, he's not the only one. I know that it can be a problem for some people, and another game I have played actually had a message pop up every hour you play saying that you should take a break. I propose a plug in that allows admins to set a certain amount of time that a person can be on the server. Netflix even has something like this, for if you spend 8 straight hours, a representative will contact you. It can either be a message that pops up, a thing that tps you to a cell in a jail or something that you can't break or something that disconnects your ip all together for at least 9 hours before you can log in again. Is this possible? Does it already exist? It would be great if this could be made!!
You Could Set Up An Auto Server Restarter So That Every (Lets Say) 8 Hours It Restarts The Server And Says Go Ahead And Take A Break. But Im Sure That People Could Create One That Watches Play Time And Tempbans Them Or Something For An Hour If They Are On It For A Straight 4-8 Hours. Could Be Pretty Simple Actually.
I don't believe that will work. It has to be for each player seperately. This is definitely possible. Let me take a look if I can find something similar Here ya go: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/timekeeper/ EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
