So I have 5 ranks on my server (Zombie, Spider, Blaze, Creeper, Wither). So my default Rank has access to all the permissions from the Zombie and Spider rank, can anybody help me with this?

CandyBro854 It might help if we could look at your groups file. Can't really give you any suggestions until we know what we're working with.

  3. I agree with JaguarJo , You will need to show us your group or else we can only make assumptions about what the problem is which can lead you in the wrong direction

Would I have to give you access to my Console? Or can you check it from In-game?

No, neither of those. Do you have access to your server's files, to actually look at the files I mean, not just edit them with the in-game commands? What we're asking to see is a pastebin.com copy of your GroupManager's groups.yml file. That will show how you've got all your ranks set up and how the permissions relate to each other. If there's a problem in that file, it could be what's causing your defaults to be able to do more than they should.

So you want me to send a screenshot of my Group Manager files?

CandyBro854 Well a screenshot will help a little with seeing how it's laid out, but copy and pasting into a program like pastebin would actually let us check your formatting for syntax errors, which we can't do very well from a screenshot.

Is there any possible way you could help me over Skype?

Sorry no, I don't use Skype. Here on the forums is the best I can do.

    Ok

JaguarJo My server host is Pytohost, so would you want me to paste the globalgroups for Group Manager or the config file for Group Manager?

No, The groups.yml in the world folder he meant. Download that file, Open it in notepad++ or something, Then copy and paste it into pastebin. Then give us the link.

CandyBro854 Globalgroups shows inheritance nodes that get used by the groups.yml and the config file shows your world mirroring and stuff. We need to see the file that has your actual ranks in it. It's called groups.yml and there is one stored for every world that you have. So you would go in your Group Manager folder and look for where it stores your individual world files. Inside your main world folder (probably named world unless you customized it) there will be a users.yml and groups.yml . We need to see the groups one.
