    Plugin category: Fun

    Suggested name: DuckHunt

What I want: I want a plugin which remakes the classic NES game "Duck Hunt".
You start the game by pressing a button which deducts from your inventory a configurable amount of emeralds (or other item).
You start with a bow (Punch I, Power I) and 32 arrows. There is one box whose inner structure is set up like this:
The game is divided into rounds(round 1 etc.) in which chickens spawn (1-2 at a time, more as rounds go by) from predefined locations at random and fly (if possible) inside the box. You then have to kill them in a configurable time (eg. 10 secs), after which they fly up and despawn. In this case, a dog spawns in the center, just like the original game. For each killed chicken, some points(configurable) are awarded. The game ends after all arrows have been thrown. The amount of points defines the reward the player gets. I also suggest to have a "wall of fame" with signs, in which the best duck hunters will have their name and points displayed.

    Example sign:
    [duckhunt]
    highscores
    <game name>

    Ideas for commands:
/duckhunt button - Spawns the button which players will press to start the game.
/duckhunt tool - Gives a region marking item which is needed to define the duck spawns, the dog spawn and the space the game is taking place.
/duckhunt set duckspawn <game name>(after selection with tool) - Sets the ducks spawn point. (multiple)
/duckhunt set dogspawn <game name>(after selection with tool) - Sets the dog spawn point. (only 1)
/duckunt set despawnarea <game name>(after selection with tool) - Sets the region in which the ducks will despawn.
/duckhunt create <game name>(after selection with tool) - Defines the space in which the game is played.
/duckhunt debug <game name> - Shows if Duck Hunt has been set up properly (at least 1 duck spawnpoint etc.)

    Ideas for permissions:
duckhunt.admin - Admin permission for the tool, spawn points etc.
duckhunt.user - Player permission, allows them to play the game.

When I'd like it by: 1-2 weeks, but we can negotiate :)

That is why you need to keep everything on the thread and don't go to email / skype / PM

There is no reason why you need to take plugin requests off these threads. If the person writing the plugin needs more information, they can ask for it on this thread. Keep in mind, someone else may come along and offer to make the plugin as well, and they will likely need the same information, so putting the information on these threads helps everyone.

I don't care if we have a 20 page long plugin request going back and forth between the author and the requester. Keep your personal information private and reject the offer to take the discussion to skype or email.

I am under no delusion that people will try to get you to pay for the plugin via paypal or email. We cannot police the internet, so don't get yourself into that situation in the first place and keep the discussion on these forums, were we can remove people who attempt to use these forums for profit.
