I want lots and lots of custom plugins, If you are a developer and will make custom plugins for me for 100% FREE! Just start a conversation with me and we can start coding!!

  2. No one would do this. You're out of luck, unless some noobs do it because you're a girl. -_- Developers would want money from this, you know I just made a small CTF plugin for $800...

Farris said it all, if you want you can make a request in plugin requests, but no one will be your personal dev for free...

I though charging for plugins was illegal......

I could do some plugins although I don't want to do too many, just give me a list of which plugins you desire and I will choose one or two out of that list.

It is illegal according to Bukkit's TOS, yet most people contact dev's through here to make them private plugins just for them in which they usually offer money in exchange for it as well as the maintaining of it. From what I understand, GirlMiner wants someone to be just be his/her personal dev. If he/she would like a plugin to be free, I would recomend learning the Bukkit API and Java, or move this to the plugin request section.

I do not intend to be GirlMiner356 's personal dev, I just offered to make a few plugins for free - I am currently learning the Bukkit API (I mean learning the advanced stuff) and I believe it would be good practice.

As for the legal info - Thanks!

Sorry, that came out wrong. I am not saying you are going to be his/her personal dev, but the way I read the first post, it seemed to me that he/she wants someone to make a bunch of custom plugins that are intended for her. Kinda hard to explain what I am thinking, sorry! :p

Seems kind of demanding as well...

Most plugins that are created for free are usually done on DBO for the community to use, the ones that dev's make in private are for personal use or for a paying customer, at least that is my understanding of it.

Not trying to argue, sorry if it seems that way, this is just my view on this.

I totally agree with your point - I just misunderstood when you said that I said that I didn't mind being her personal dev.

    Are you reading this??

If so - in your future plugin requests try to be less demanding like 97WaterPolo has stated.
    Good Luck!

This whole thread is worthy of a delete I'd say or atleast a lock.

To sum it all up: This should be in requests. It's not allowed to demand money for plugins via the forum. Also developers that becomes a 'personal developer' usually wants something in return, unless it's a new developer that sees this as a good learning opportunity (which it really is!).

You can try to make a friend who knows how to code or maybe bring a developer on board as a co-owner, beyond that you will not get anyone to help you most likely.

    Also wrong thread? hawkfalcon

If you have a specific plugin request, post it in the plugin req's section. Do not ask dev's to pm you just describe your request in the thread.
