    Hello

I have been learning Java for a good few months now and i was wanting to start bukkit plugins development.

I don't have a very good inspiration so could you guys give me some suggestions on my first Bukkit plugin i could make. It would be really appreciated if they are not to advanced and if they would be sutible for a bukkit beginner.

    Thanks

Go there, read the requests, and make the plugin they request.

If it is too advanced don't do it. Some are extremely easy and some are a little bit too complicated. There are bound to be some you could you.

Use the 'tahg' button or type it, don't copy-paste it or it messes up the formatting and doesn't work.

I reccomend starting with the basic commands (e.g., /teleport, /heal, /message, and so on.)
Then, you can work your way up to more advanced plugins.

My very first plugin was VariableTriggers. Its very advanced. It all depends on your knowledge not just Java but programming in general and your willingness to dig deep if needed to get an answer on how best to implement what you want. So if you get an idea that you really want to go with, don't hold back just because it may be complex.

Try making a plugin that shows off your java skills and knowledge, and if you don't have that good of skills then use it as an opportunity to learn more. You should also set goals, and try to make something that's a bit out of your skill set, so you have something to measure your change as a programmer. My first plugin was as simple as using a listener that would create the players who joined (wasn't configurable). Also you should seek out some people to work with, so its more fun. And if you need help with anything don't be afraid to ask :D
