Hello guys, I have made a private Minecraft server recently and I was thinking about installing Bukkit on it however it seems that the only version that Bukkit goes up to is 1.7.2. It looks to me as if the Bukkit development has stopped, correct me if I'm wrong but I assumed that due to the fact that the last build was uploaded around mid-February. Is there a new version of Bukkit or something similiar available? If not, how long might this take to update it to 1.7.4? Thanks.
No, most of the changes between 1.7.2 and 1.7.4 are on the client, not the server, and you can connect to 1.7.2 from 1.7.4 (or 1.7.5, for that matter). So... they have said they are concentrating on other things than upgrading the code base. I think they'll only update it if there are significant changes on the server side or if client/server compatibility is affected. They've been active, even pushing a second 1.7.2 beta significantly after the 1.7.4 came out. The latest beta has some really cool features with command aliasing and accessing vanilla commands.

Thank you. I've been away from the MC scene for a while now and this is exactly what I was wondering about because I keep seeing "Bukkit 1.7.5 servers" being advertised.
The only problem with that is there are broken things that got fixed in 1.7.4. One of the achievements in unattainable on any Bukkit server. I know it's a lot of work and achievements aren't that huge a deal, but there are a few other things as well.
