Been having these Lag Spikes since I started my server back up... I been running a bukkit server for several years now, first time im actually dealing with an issue like this and I can't find what is causing it. I am using CraftBukkit 1.7.2-R0.2.

ThaSourceGaming Is it a Bukkit plugin that performs the backup? Because it looks like the backup is working on the main thread of the server and causing a delay of more than 10 seconds, and then Bukkit crashes.

First, thank you for replying to me.

Secondly, the server doesn't crash there is lag spikes that happen, and where could I disable the default bukkit backup?

Third, No I don't have a plugin that makes backups. As you can see in my thread image you can see the plugins i use, but i don't think any of them make backups.

ThaSourceGaming Because you said you had problems since you started the server backup I assumed the server crashed while the backup was running, but that is not the case right?
You are running a lot of plugins (including some heavy ones) are you running Bukkit on a server in a datacenter or a home computer? Could you post the full error message from the console in something like pastebin? Then maybe I can determine what is causing the problem.

The server doesn't crash, it just has lag spikes time to time, like every 10 mins or so. When I restart the server it seems fine for a couple hours then the lag spikes start happening every 10 minutes.

The server I am running on is a Dedicated server: [IMG] 1GBps, upload/download speed.

ThaSourceGaming The server should be able to handle it, does it have an SSD or a normal harddisk?
About the error: When the server timed out after 10 seconds of a non-responding main thread it was saving chunks. So apparently the server has trouble saving the world, I'm not sure what causes this.
