I have a private server with 10slots and 5gb ram and only 18 plugins. But after about 15 minutes with 3-5 people on it. The console is spammed with "PermGen error: Out of memory" or something like that Then the server stops. Like it issues /stop on its own..... But I would like a fix fast please. Thanks! Plugins: Craftbook, EasyPEX, PEX, EnjinMinecraftPlugin, Essentials, Essentials Chat, Essentials Spawn, FastCraft, HeroChat, InfoBoard, JsonAPI, Multiverse Core, Multiverse Inventories, Multiverse Portals, Vault, WorldEdit, WorldGuard. Also... Most of the time this happens when i try to reload after doing permissions.
i'd normally get this when i run out of ram on my test server with 4gigs of ram home pc, not very often as that is only half the amount of ram my computer actually has. 8GB runs great on my actual server with over 30 plugins never ran out of ram yet, even at around 30 players, damn i'd like to see that number again xD are you hosting on your home pc ? or is it shared/dedicated
Up your PermGen space to 128 megabytes, minecraft 1.7 added a lot of new classes that requires the permgen to be upped to 128mb

pepod091 Reloading is not the best thing for your server, and how much RAM are you even allocating? yes, you have 5GB, but is that the amount you have on your computer or the amount you have allocated?
I'm having a similar problem with my server, but no errors occur in the console, are there any other fixes? I'm on a host so i can't edit the startup script.
