Creating 'Dummy' Player?

All I need is a way of spawning an entity of type player with name as default or something, just to test my healer class. It doesn't need to do anything at all.

 

belven000 Trust me, it's a lot more work to spawn a fake player than it is to just get a friend online to test it with you.

 

or run it in offline-mode true and log in a second time

 

I'm happy to do offline-mode if it will work.

But I'd rather make a test player

belven000 I've got just the thing to help you out.

 

It isn't thy simple. This takes you deep into minecraft internals, which will undoubtedly break your server or your plugin. There are good purposes and bad purposes for making NPCs, this is a bad reason to make one.

 

Well, I need to test out using abilities on player e.g. my healer healing another player, and as most people on my server work alternate hours I need something that is of type Player to test this on.
