Limit /item by group

Hey everyone, I am a little new to the forums, minecraft, and Bukkit but I am getting the hang of it. Seeing as I am not really having an actual issue, I am not going to post most of my info because I couldn't imagine it helping. I will admit that I am on 669, however I will be upgrading tonight.

My question is, can I limit the items that are spawned into the game through the /item command by group. I think I know how to prevent the entire server from spawning in an item (like TNT {I don't have the ID off of the top of my head}). However, I would like to be able to limit that by group. So the regular players can spawn some things, the mods can spawn most, and the admins can spawn everything. Is this currently possible to do with Bukkit/Group Manager? Is there another plugin that I need that will work with Essentials to do what I want.

you can do that with worldguard, its a little tricky but play with it and you will get it.

 

Or you could use the Spawn List plugin

@bastion I was just looking at worldguard and was getting a vague picture in my mind on how to do it. However, I think I will go with Spawn List. Thanks anyway.

Or using Permissions, it's a little confusing but alot of plug ins use it and it's really useful.
