Building with portals - but how?

    Hey,

    what is the easiest way to build with portals?
    If I place 2 beneath each other, they disappear.
    WorldEdit also can't transform 2D-Regions (walls) into portal.
    Any idea?

    Are you trying to build an obsidian portal, or just place the purple portal material?

    You can get a plugin that enables obsidian nether portals and when you light them they will work.

    I haven't been able to stack purple portal material either.
