So recently I have been running a laggy minecraft server. Every maybe 3o minutes or so, I would get huge lag spikes, then the server would crash. if you are running the server from home it is just your computer/internet. If you pay for a host you may not have enough RAM to support all the plugins/players you have try removing some plugins/worlds and anything else unnecessary. hope this helped
