Hello, I have been working on a minecraft server for almost 6 months, with less than 10 players and usually just myself. I have many worlds, stuff, blah blah. Right now the really pressing matter is that players cannot hit each other, damage with other things is normal, they just cannot hit each other, at all. I think my perms might play a role in this, I was with essentials group manager until shorty after this problem occured. I am using PEX now and I have used it before, but I think I am have gone wrong somewhere. In addition to this I keep having errors with my anti cheating plugin, it has always been errors with movement and such. Players are just walking or other movement like sprinting or jumping and AntiCheat kicks them. I have recently moved to NoCheatPlus to try to fix this, but I am getting the same errors and players are getting kicked. Lastly, for some reason players cannot see me, I fix this by /v (Vanish from essentials I believe) twice. It happens every time I log out. Steve__555 1. Check if PvP is enabled on your server config AND your plugin configs. 2. As for NCP kicking players from the server, you should configure the plugin config file and lower the security. 3. As for /v, I'm not really too sure. I've seen this problem with other people for some time now but maybe this is also a problem with the config? In the end, I think most of your problems are from the YAML files.
To that NoCheatPlus issue: Could you copy&paste us a /ncp info <AffectedPlayer> output after those "errors" happened? Whats your Craftbukkit version? What are the plugin versions? Do you have a list of all plugins you have installed on your server? Is there any noticeable lag on your server or for your players?
MyPictures I will post something in reply to your post in a moment. I decided to try something I have been thinking about and get rid of essentials and swap it for command book, considering I never used half of the content it had. Just doing that fixed the PVP problem and the vanish problem.
